Originally designed and used by Cricket Pitch Inspectors, the Impact 3 Heavy Duty Soil Sampler is a superior piece of sampling equipment which provides users with the ability to take cross section soil samples in the hardest and most compact of ground conditions. It is also ideally suited to making holes for marker posts.

New Frame

The new Impact 3 Heavy Duty Soil Sampler features an innovatively redesigned frame that allows you to split the supporting frame into two halves. This means that when taking a sample you no longer have to physically pull up on the blades in an effort to view the sample. Instead you can simply split the frame in half to view the soil core within.

This has the benefit of significantly reducing distortion or smudging of the sample, as well as making the task easier for the user, by completely eliminating any physical effort needed to separate the blades from the tool.

Furthermore, the redesign of the sampler frame has provided opportunity to upgrade the durability of the tool. New reinforcing points to the blade tops and a complete structural overhaul to the supporting frame combine to increase the overall strength and longevity of the equipment.

Please Note: This piece of equipment must only be used in conjunction with a dedicated nylon faced mallet.

A mallet of this type will increase the lifetime of the instrument and significantly reduce physical strain on the operator.
